Providing RYA Training on the River Thames for over 30 years.

  • All our theory classes are run in our dedicated classroom at the National Sports Centre. Fully equipped with HD projection, Magnetic Whiteboards, Electronic chart plotting and flexible seating we can reconfigure the room to meet the needs of the course and ensure you have the space you need to learn. On average we have around 4 students in the classroom, the maximum is 6.

  • We have a range of vessels for you to select from including a 17m Dutch barge, River cruiser, 4 powerboats of differing sizes. However, if you have already purchased your boat we can arrange to complete the training on yours. All Boat handling courses are arranged directly with you on a date to meet your needs.

If you have completed training with us you will be given the opportunity to use our vessels as part of the Waterfront Club

  • We focus our sailing training mainly on small groups or 1:1 lessons. This provides the flexibility to meet your needs while also progressing you through the RYA Adult and Youth sailing schemes at pace. Clients who have completed RYA training with us are given the opportunity to become a member of the Waterfront club.

  • When you have completed your training you have the opportunity to become a club member and gain access to our equipment and facilities.

We can talk to you about this during your course.

  • ABT is our onsite RYA Sailability partner. BASNS Ltd gifts its site and equipment and skills to this independent charity who help those who, because of disability, would not be able to gain access to the water.
