Ms S.R. London SW11 - April 2014

Good Morning Julie,
Just a quick, a very belated, thank you to Tom for the week of Day skipper theory.
As usual he was excellent and fantastically patient, making the entire process a success, however daunting it had been! Since then, we have taken JADi out for a great cruise all the way to Queenborough and around the Isle of Sheppee, staying overnight at hermitage Moorings and Gravesende. Having a better understanding of the tides and passage planning made it even more enjoyable.

Mr B. J. Florida USA - October 2013
Thank you for putting up with all of my e-mails, big or small. Tom, thank you for putting such energy into the Marine Radio class and for giving me credit for my fatigue when I flubbed my lines.- Also a wonderful job as skipper/trainer on my 1st day on the Thames. Roy, What an incredible school you have put together. My nerves were tamed by the good nature, humour, and comraderee (sic) of you and your staff. I have already sung my praises about your school to ........ who also owns a sailing school in the Seattle Washington area. I think that you might want to contact him. I will assist in any way I can. I think that your " Art Afloat " is very cool, too bad I have trouble drawing stick men. My Helmsman's Certificate got here before me. Thank you. I'm very proud of that............... While I was booking your classes I booked 7 days with Locaboat............................. We were on the Midi. Argens to Narbonne- Beziers [ did the staircase ] to Homps then back to Argens. A great voyage.........................So - Roy, I will continue to say great things about your school and thank you for all of your help. - Cheers--- Bruce, Tampa, Florida USA

Dear Mr Sowerby,
I know that my husband has already emailed you extensively about the Inland Waterways course on 29th and 30th May but I wish to add something for my part.
Before the course and maybe during it, I was a little wary as I have a handicapped arm and some problems with leg length discrepancy. However, I was not physically stressed at any time and found to my surprise that I could do more than I thought due to your encouragement and this has since led me attempt other things.
Warp throwing did not seem to come easily to me at Bisham, but early the next morning after our return, (with only our garden feathered friends for an audience) I was immediately successful – hmmm.
I feel it is important to be able to do all aspects of boating with our Seamaster in which you tutored us and remain practised. Your explanations including expert use of whiteboard to show outcomes, as well as the equal experience we were both given, were very helpful and have furnished us with a good grounding and an invaluable tool for our future boating experiences. I would certainly commend your teaching and the course to other beginners, thank you.
With best wishes,
G. B. Basingstoke - August 2013

Mr P, W. Bourne End - August 2013
My wife, our daughter and I would like to thank your Team for the excellent Dinghy Sailing Course last week.
Our grandson really enjoyed his time at Bisham and has benefitted greatly.
He is motivated to develop his sailing so I have to repair our PUFFIN DINGHY !
He was an very good crew member and helmsman when we took my daughter and all four grandchildren out on WAGTAIL X this Monday.
He made use of his knots and showed his brothers and sister how to row the inflatable dinghy properly.
Please pass on our thanks to Pete, Tom and all your Team.
P and P, W.
