Please telephone 01628 474960 for a quotation and to establish a mutually convenient date, time and venue for your Boat Safety Inspection. The inspection and certificate fee is payable when booking.

Then print out the booking form, (available to download above as a PDF), complete all sections in block capitals, sign and return with your cheque to secure your inspection date. Please read our Conditions of Booking (below) before signing your booking  form. If you have any difficulties downloading or printing the form please call us and we will be happy to post one to you.

Terms and Conditions:

The Craft

The craft should be prepared for inspection in accordance with the 'Boat Safety Scheme Guidance Notes'.

Craft must be securely moored, if on hard standing securely propped and safe access must be provided to all parts of the craft. In the event of the craft being unsafe to board, we reserve the right to cancel the inspection, in this event the inspection fee will be non-refundable.

Access

Access to Marina berth or boat location must be arranged by the craft owner-agent and they are responsible for any access / commission fees charged by the Marina / berth owners in relation to the Boat Safety Inspection. We prefer the owner or the owner's representative to be present during the inspection. Access to the craft and its security following the inspection must be arranged by the owner or his agent.

Bookings

Bookings can only be accepted if made on our booking form.

Payment

Payment must be made in full prior to the commencement of the inspection and should be submitted with the booking form

Cancellation

Cancellation by the client or applicant will result in the loss in full of the inspection fee. We reserve the right to cancel the inspection for operational reasons, in this unlikely event a full refund will be given unless an alternative date is acceptable to the client.
